We are rightly proud that our Association is the largest socio-cultural and non-political organization in Asia, providing our charitable work to all sections of the society irrespective of caste, creed and religion. We also generously contribute to the State and Central Government Relief funds in times of natural calamities. The Ecclesiastical authorities, leading citizens and social workers and even the Government level authorities have appreciated the work done by our Association and have seen in it an enormous potential to do a lot more.
The contribution given by our Units has been tremendous and the great feelings of Oneness has made our foundation solid to promote ourselves into the coming years of progress and achievements for the betterment of the Community.
The first Unit was formed on 4th October, 1959 at Kalina and later at Kirol and within a year 17 Units across the city of Bombay and its suburbs owing allegiance to the Central Council of the K.C.A. Today the KCA has more than 52 Units under its fold and thus the seed sown sixty-three years ago has flowered into a gigantic organisation representing more than 1.5 Lakhs Kerala Catholics spread over the city of Mumbai. Thane and Navi Mumbai.
